The revolutionary microprocessor controlled water processing technology first filters the water through a multi-stage mineral and activated carbon filter and then "energizes" it as it controls alkalinity levels. The energizing, also known as ionization, is accomplished by passing the water over positive and negative electrodes. The water is then separated into negatively charged alkaline water and positively charged acidic water. Heaven Fresh AquaCharger AK-900 uses 5 flat electrodes in water ionization process. Dimensions are 6.2 cm x 19.2 cm, which equates to total surface area of more than 960 square cm. The unit ionizes as well as maintain very precise PH and ORP levels of water utilizing these Platinum coated Titanium electrodes.

AK-900 offers total control over pH level in the range of 7.0 - 10.2. It has 1 Neutral pH, 4 alkaline presets and 2 acidic presets. Altogether there are 7 push buttons with labels such as Drinking Water, Tea/Cofee, Washing Vegetables etc. and these buttons comes with factory preset levels for pH and ORP. Customer has an option to either keep using the factory presets levels or used customized settings based on personal preference. After changing the settings, built in micro-chip inside AK-900 memorized the new setting.

About cleaning, the unit automatically goes to cleaning mode once every 12 hours. The whole process lasts up to 30 seconds and unit flushes approximately 1 liter of water during the whole process. That acid water can be used for planting or cosmetic purpose.

During this cleaning process, system reverses the direction of how acidic and alkalize water flows through the unit. So acidic water comes out of the steel output hose and the alkalize water drained from the bottom hose.
